Healthcare Management Consultants Wins Small Business of the Year Award

We’re proud to announce that Healthcare Management Consultants, sister company to The Dental CFO and under shared leadership, was awarded the Chamber Champion Small Business of the Year Award at the Rowan Chamber’s 97th Annual Meeting on January 26, 2023.

A boutique consulting firm, Healthcare Management Consultants aims to help independent medical practices increase profits while becoming more fun to lead. They offer a comprehensive range of services, including strategic planning, payroll, tax planning and preparation, human resources consulting, and more.

Pictured above and accepting the award were Thomas R. Loeblein (President/CEO), Stanford R. Jordan (Vice President/CFO), B. Todd Dagenhart (Vice President/COO), and Timothy Scott Norris (Vice President/Managing Partner), the firm’s shared leadership with The Dental CFO.

The firm was selected for the Small Business of the Year Award based on the following criteria:

  • Small business with under 100 full-time employees
  • Member of the Rowan Chamber of Commerce
  • Achieved growth in sales, number of employees, and/or other measurable areas
  • Has a financial and personal commitment to support the community

Not only did Healthcare Management Consultants meet these criteria, but they also consistently exceed client expectations, foster strong client relationships, and help generate financial success for healthcare professionals.

Since its inception in 1966, Healthcare Management Consultants has strived toward one goal: to help doctors excel personally and professionally — and have fun doing it. To achieve this goal, its 17 staff members in Salisbury and Southern Pines, NC use cutting-edge technology combined with integrity and professional expertise to ease physicians’ practice management burdens.

Prior to winning the Small Business of the Year Award, Healthcare Management Consultants received the annual Novant Workplace Wellness Award at the Chamber’s Dragon Boat Festival. This recognition was given for the firm’s continued commitment to employee physical and emotional well-being.
